last nite i watched the longest yard- it's a great film! entertaining, funny, moving, exciting, violent (slightly- it IS enormous men taking each other out at american football!), and had a bizzarre cast incl. Adam Sandler, Nelly, Chris Rock, stone- cold Steve Austin, Burt Reynolds, and a guy who is over 7 feet tall! quality!
other than that i have been:
- bloghopping and meeting new people: simon
- appreciating some fine illustration: lorna
- and wow, i just discovered a link to my blog from another- thanks gadget vicar!!

Dear Lynzy
Just a quick note to let you know that I've taken the liberty of adding your blog to the weblog listings at Scottish Christian.com:
www.scottishchristian.com/blog/index.shtml
I hope this is ok, but please let me know if you'd like the listing removed for any reason.
I also thought you might be interested in a Lent Discourse event at Kelvinside Hillhead parish church, just off Byres Road, at 7.30 pm on Thursday March 2. Julie Adair, head of new media at BBC Scotland, will be in conversation with me about the Church's use of the internet, especially at a time when new churches are making a significant impact on Scotland.
Weblogs will be featuring quite heavily in the discussion, so your views would be very welcome, especially on why you blog. If you can't be there in person, please consider dropping me an email with any thoughts you have on this, which could be added to a blog set up for the occasion and hopefully for continuing debate:
www.scottishchristian.com/discourse
Finally, if you'd like to link to Scottish Christian, that would be great!
Best wishes
Ian Ansdell
