tired me

very quick blog update in the 5 mins i have left in my highly restricted internet time! week 3 has begun and i'm tired and a little run down. spent an amazing weekend in Skye-more about that later- but today is draining. did 9 pupil interviews, and found that active listening is exhausting. popped down to aviemore on the bus last nite to meet friends and dad for dinner at a church without walls conference. havent really been to church for a while, but God used last nite, well, most of yesterday actually, to speak to me. more on that later too. if inclined, please pray for energy levels and general stuff :)

'Active listening'
that's a new one to me,do you cup your ears in your hands and stare intently into the interviewee's face, don't worry you'll find your own level of active-ness that will be more in your comfort range.
'Active not listening'is good to,
but I think you have to be a man to really appreciate that one.

haha, yes, i think many men are excellent at active not listening! it requires no effort or concentration, and can be done whilst watching telly/ listening to music/ off in a dwam! and who says men can't do 2 things at once!

i came across a poem about listening the day after u left that comment, but only just had the chance to put it on!
listen and learn ;)
